These days, new inventions are created and invented very frequently. Some of these inventions can be helpful and an overall good contribution to mankind. But at the same time, some inventions could be devastate...and maybe fatal to civilization.

A prime example of a fatal invention is the euphio that was made in The Euphio Question story. The euphio created a sense of extreme happiness, and created a sense of numbness for the users. It was a sort of modern electronic drug. When under the influence of the euphio, the users can't make safe decisions, and could injure themselves or others around them. For example, if a pilot of a public plane was under the influence of the euphio, then he could crash the plane or maybe worse. So technology of this kind should not be available to everyone, everwhere. Lew Harrison had access to the euphio, and with his intentions many, many, many people could be killed. If dangerous technology like the euphio was accessible to any person, someone might accidentally, or purposefully, misuse the technology. If a dangerous technology was invented today, and if it fell into the wrong hands, the person could use it and twist its purpose to fit their own needs.
